Whilst the kitchenette in your room is well equipped, you really don’t want to be using it much, but you are within walking distance of a grocery store, not to mention shops, and importantly restaurants. The hotel has a beachfront restaurant which is pretty well OK, with lovely views, and the food more than acceptable, but your choice of restaurants outside probably means you will eat out a lot.

You may care to try out Bert’s Bar and Restaurant, get Reception to organise a taxi to take you to lunch at Sandy Lane Golf Clubhouse, it is fantastic, and don’t miss Champers for food and drink at great prices. You can easily walk to St Lawrence Gap, where there are plenty of eating places and action, and don’t miss Pisces when you are there.

Blue Orchids Beach Hotel is a very good apartment hotel, and the fact that it is an affordable vacation spot leaves you more money for entertainment and car hire, and food. You should have a great Barbados beachfront vacation here.
